Spring Has Sprung!!

Podrán cortar todas las flores pero no podrán detener la primavera.

They can cut all the flowers, but they cannot stop the spring.

This quote is often attributed to the Chilean romantic poet Pablo Neruda. It comes to my mind now that we are just on the verge of a new Spring. We are getting ready to let the sun shine on our faces, to enjoy the warmth, and to watch the world around us spring back to life after the deep, dark, cold winter. This has been a really tough winter in a really tough year ~ but we are emerging from the worst of it, and we should allow ourselves to be hopeful.

Here at The Centerpiece Flower Shop, we are celebrating everything we love about Spring with bright flowers. As usual, daffodils and crocuses are the first we see popping up, followed by tulips, and little bunches of purple Muscari. We will be stocked with a variety of plants for indoor and outdoor enjoyment. We will be so happy to send joyful arrangements and bouquets to your loved ones ~ Imagine the happiness they’ll feel at answering a knock on their door and finding a stunning display of springtime blossoms on their front step!

Here in our shop, we will take advantage of the warming weather to open our door and welcome our neighbors both in the West Roxbury community and from all over! While we know that the pandemic isn’t over yet (please keep that mask on when visiting), we feel so optimistic that a bright, sunny, colorful future lies ahead.
