St. Patrick’s Day marks the unofficial start of spring here in West Roxbury, and is a holiday marking the great and lasting contributions of the Irish American community generally, and the Boston Irish community generally. As a proud member of the West Roxbury small business community, The Centerpiece Flower Shop is glad to help you celebrate!

For over a century here in Boston, St. Patrick’s Day has been a time to show off the Green, White, and Orange flag, to sing songs, and shake off the winter weariness we might be feeling.

Although you may know that I’m originally from Venezuela, you may not know that I lived for a year in Dublin. I remember traveling around Ireland as a student ~ Seeing the marvelous Cliffs of Moher, looking over the Book of Kells in Trinity College, walking the cobblestone streets of Galway, and having many late nights with friends around Temple Bar. What a place full of life!

I always loved the strong, deep sentiment of Irish pride, or a lust for life, and of the resilient spirit of Ireland. Here at The Centerpiece, we’ll be stocked with festive potted shamrocks, Irish flags, and our normal array of beautiful flowers for all of your custom arrangement needs.
