Roncesvalles : Body + Face Soap is a handcrafted soap bar inspired by a stroll in the Roncesvalles Village, in Toronto. Originally a Polish community, the Roncesvalles Village (or Roncy as the locals call it) is like a small village in a city, dotted with many independent shops, cafes, eateries and colourful fruit/flower/herb vendors. This soap is lightly scented with essential oils of sweet floral lavender and ylang ylang, herbaceous rosemary, and fresh green citrus of litsea cubeba, inspired by the fruit/flower vendors on the main street.

The two solid block design was borrowed from the Polish flag and pays homage to Roncesvalles Village's original Polish community. Pink clay and activated charcoal powder add a gentle exfoliation effect on the skin. Enriched with skin-restoring rice bran oil and nourishing shea butter, this soap is suitable for face and body; the sensitive, dry, normal or oily skin types. You will love the refreshing scent and the moisturizing characteristics of this bar. It will leave your skin soft and supple after use.

All of our soaps are cold processed and handcrafted in small batches to ensure their maximum benefits for your skin. You will receive one (1) bar weighs approximately 4 oz/112 g and is sized at 3-3/8" x 2-3/8" x 1" approximately. Each bar is hand-poured, hand-cut and no two are alike. They are minimally wrapped in a recycled paper label.


Handcrafted soaps are high in glycerin. Glycerin attracts water (hence its moisturizing effect) therefore our soaps should not be left sitting in water, as it will cause them to melt. To extend the life of your soap, please use a well-draining soap dish to ensure your soap dries completely after each use.

Ingredients: olive oil, distilled water, organic coconut oil, rice bran oil, sodium hydroxide (used for the saponification process and none remains in the final product), organic shea butter, castor oil; essential oils of litsea cubeba, lavender, rosemary, and ylang ylang; French pink clay, activated charcoal powder, French grey sea salt, rosemary leaf extract


* This soap contains NO synthetic chemicals such as: sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), detergent, preservatives, fragrance oil, paraben, phthalate, alcohol, urea, silicone, synthetic colourant, EDTA, TEA, and DEA.
* Palm oil is not used for this product for environmental concerns.
